Oster 76300-105 Gear Lube - Premium Clipper Grease

Oster Professional Products Gear Lube is a premium clipper grease designed specifically for all universal motor clippers. It is a tough, hard-working lubricant. 1.25 oz. (35.4 g).

Oster recommends lubricating the clipper head gear mechanism every six months for a smoother running tool. These are the Oster instructions as given on the packaging:
Caution: grease clipper only as recommended in your owner’s manual. Use grease sparing as over-greasing may cause leakage and reduce clipper’s efficiency.
Step one: unplug clipper from the power supply. Loosen the two top screws and remove the metal coverplate.
Step two: Remove the nylon lever, metal linkage and gear. Clean the old grease from the cavity.
Step three: Apply grease into top hole until grease appears in the top and bottom gear post holes. DO NOT FILL THE CAVITY WITH GREASE. Grease the gear and linkage very lightly. Replace the parts and metal coverplate. Tighten the screws firmly. (The packaging shows pictures illustrating this procedure.
